# How to edit Connector name?

There are two ways to edit connector name. 

* Go to **My Library** page where you will find the search product option.
* Search your product here and click on the **Edit** button displaying next to the name of the item.

* From here, you can change the **Connector Name** by clicking on it and editing the text.
* After updating the connector name, click **Add Product** to save the changes.

2. To edit product connector name from **Search & Add Products** page, you first need to copy that product to My Library.

* Click on the **Copy to my lib** button displaying next to the name of the item.

* Once you click on it, you will get a notification that your product has been copied to **My Library** section. 
* Click on the **Edit** button displaying next to the name of the item.

* Edit your product connector name and Click on the **Re-draw Device** Option to view the updated port information in your X-DRAW Editor.
* Click on the **Add Product** button to save your changes.

| Note:- Re-draw Device Option: Selecting this option will delete any connected lines to the block and recreate them from scratch.

| Note:- Copy Products: If a product is not available in "My Library," it must be copied from the XTEN Library.
