# How to Edit a Product Details on the Rooms & Items page?

**Introduction**

Editing product details in a proposal using x.doc is a straightforward process. Here's how to do it:

* Open your proposal and navigate to the **Rooms & Items** section.

* Locate the product you want to update and click the **Edit icon** next to the product name.

* The **Edit Product Details** dialog box opens. Update the product details, **quantity**, and **pricing** as needed. Click **Save and Close** to apply your changes.

* Once saved, you can view the updated product details in the **Rooms & Items** section.
