# How to Delete X-DOC document?

**Overview**

Deleting an X-DOC document allows users to remove unwanted or outdated proposals from the system to keep their workspace clean and organized.

**Method 1: Deleting from the Dashboard Page**

* Navigate to the X-DOC dashboard. Locate the document you want to delete. Click the **Action** menu **(three dots ⋮)** and select **Delete**.

**Method 2: Deleting from the Proposal Page**

* Open the proposal you want to delete.
* In the top-right corner of the page, click the **Actions** button, then select **Delete** from the dropdown menu.

| Please note: Deleting a document is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Ensure you have saved any necessary information from the document before proceeding with deletion.
