# How to delete Task stages in X-Pro?

**Overview**

In X-Pro, you can manage your workflow by creating and deleting task stages in the **Tasks (Kanban View)** section. If a stage is no longer required, you can easily remove it to keep your task board organized.

**Steps** **to** **Delete** **a** **Task** **Stage**

* Navigate to your X-Pro project where you want to Delete the Task Stage.

* From the Project Dashboard, go to the **Tasks** section.

* Find the task stage (e.g., To Do, In Progress, Completed, Pending). Click on the **three-dot menu (⋮)** on the stage header.  From the dropdown options, select **Delete** Stage.

* Confirm the action to permanently remove the stage.
