# How to delete section from x.doc editor? 

**Overview**

In **X.doc**, you can delete a section from the document if it is no longer needed. This helps keep your document clean and well organized.

**Steps** **to** **Delete** **a** **Section**

* Navigate to the **section** you want to delete.

* Click the **Actions** (**three** **dots**) icon. Select **Delete** from the dropdown menu.

* Click on the '**Yes**, **I** **am** **sure!** button to confirm the deletion of the section.

* Once you confirm, the section will be deleted from the x.doc editor.

| Notes: Deleted sections cannot be restored, so make sure the section is no longer required. You must have the appropriate permissions to delete a section.
