# How to Delete an Element in the X-DOC document?

**Introduction**

Deleting elements in **x.doc** helps you manage content and keep your document organized.

**Deleting an Element**

* Open your **x.doc document** and navigate to the section in which you want to delete an element.

* Select the element (**Image**, **Text Box**, **PDF**, **Signature**, and **Shapes**) you want to delete in your **x.doc document**.

* To remove the element, click **Delete Element** from the right-hand menu.

* After deletion, the element will no longer appear in the x.doc document or the client PDF.
