# How to create a project in X-Pro from an existing project?

**Overview**

X-Pro allows you to create a new project by copying an existing one. This helps save time and ensures consistency by reusing project details, settings, and configurations.

**Steps** **to** **Create** **a** **Project** **from** **an** **Existing** **Project**

* Go to the **Projects** Dashboard and select an Existing Project

* On the selected project page, on the right-hand side, you will find the **Start** **Project** **Management** option.

* After clicking the **Start Project Management** button, a dialog box will appear. Select the project type (**Install** or **Service**), then enter all the required information and click the **Create** button to proceed.

| Notes: The new project will retain the structure and settings of the original project. You can edit project details at any time after creation.
