# How to connect with Monday.com?

**Overview**

XTEN-AV allows you to integrate your account with Monday.com to streamline project management and synchronize contacts and project data between both platforms. This integration helps you manage workflows more efficiently and keep all your data aligned in one place.

* To connect your Monday.com account with XTEN-AV, click on the **Settings** option, in the top right profile area.

* Once you click on it, you will find the Monday.com option under the **Integrations** tab.

1. To connect monday.com, first you need to install the Monday.com Application using the XTEN-AV Platform. 

* Click on the **Install Application** button under the monday.com section.

2. Log into your monday.com account to authenticate.

3. Click on the Authorize button.

4. In Monday.com, you can view sections like **Deals, Accounts, Contacts, and Leads**, which will be used for mapping.

5. Go back to XTEN-AV and map the fields as follows:
* Select **Accounts** under the Accounts option
* Select **Contacts** under the Contacts option
* Select **Deals** under the Projects option

Click on **Next: Map Columns** and complete the mapping process.

6. Map the required fields by selecting corresponding columns for:
* **Accounts** (e.g., Account Name, Website, Email, Address)
* **Contacts** (e.g., Contact Name, Email, Phone)
* **Projects/Deals** (e.g., Deal Name, Budget, Stage, Assign Engineer, Dates, etc.)

**Important Notes**
* If a required column (such as **Email**) is not available in Monday.com and you do not want to create it, you can select the **“Do Not Map”** option.
* If fields like **Assign Engineer** (or any other project field) are not mapped, the corresponding data will not be synced or visible after integration. (Need changes)

7. Map the columns for this Monday.com and click on **Map** to complete the integration.

8. After mapping, the integration URL will be displayed, and options such as **Pull Contacts** and **Push Contacts** will appear to sync data between XTEN-AV and Monday.com.
