# How to change the Opacity / Visibility of element? 

**Overview**

In x.doc, you can adjust the opacity or visibility of an element to customize the look and feel of your document. This feature allows you to control how much background is visible through the element. Here's how you can change the opacity/visibility of an element:

**Changing Opacity / Visibility**

* Select the element for which you want to change the Opacity / Visibility.

* Change the Opacity / Visibility of the element from the right side of the Proposal.
