# How to Change the Background Color of the x.doc document page?

 **Overview**

This article explains how to change the background color of a page in an **X-Doc** document. Changing the background color helps customize the look and feel of your document and align it with your branding requirements.


* Open your proposal, click on the page area to select the document page. From the right-hand properties panel, locate the  **Change Background Color.**

* Click on the color picker and choose the desired color.

* The selected background color will be applied immediately to the page.
