# How to assign Task to Event?

* From the **X-PRO** section in the left navigation menu, click **Install** to expand the menu, then select **Dashboard**.

* Once you click on the **Dashboard** button, you will be redirected to the **X-Pro Dashboard**. From there, you can open the desired design.

* Click on the **Events** button, then select the specific date to which you would like to assign the task.

* Once you click on the date a pop up will appear, click on **Create New Task** button.

* After clicking on **Create New Task,** another pop-up will appear. Fill in the required details and then click on the **Create Task** button.

* Once completed, the task will be assigned to your event and will appear on the **Dashboard** under the **Events** section.
