# How to Assign a Tag to x.doc document? 

**Introduction**

In x.doc, tags can be used to categorize and organize your documents. Assigning a tag to a proposal can help you manage your documents more effectively. Here's how you can assign a tag to a proposal:

**Assigning a Tag**

* On the x.doc dashboard page, click the 'Action' option denoted by three dots ( ⋮ ) on the proposal to which you want to assign a tag.

* After clicking the 'Assign Tag' option, select the 'Tag' from the drop-down menu.

* To save your changes, click the 'Save' Button.

* You can view the documents under that tag by clicking on the tag name.
