# How to apply Shipping Cost and Shipping Tax?

**Introduction**

Adding **shipping cost** and **taxes** to your proposal in **XTEN-AV** is a quick and straightforward process. This guide will provide step-by-step instructions to ensure these costs are accurately included in your proposals.

**Adding Shipping Cost and Taxes**

* Open the proposal where you want to apply shipping cost and taxes. Navigate to the **Pricing Breakdown** section and click **Pricing Breakdown Settings**.

* Under the Tax Preferences, check the **Shipping tax** option and enter the required value. 
* Similarly, under the **Shipping** option, enter the **Shipping Cost** as per your requirement. 
* After entering the necessary details, click on the **Save & Close** button to store your settings.

* Once you've saved your changes, the **Shipping Tax** and **Shipping Cost** will be displayed in your Pricing Breakdown table.

| **Note:** If the Shipping Cost value is set to zero, it will not be displayed in the Pricing Breakdown section.
