# How to add a product in X-PRO project?

**Overview**

In X-PRO, adding a product to a project allows you to include required equipment/items in your project.


* From the **Main Dashboard**, click on the **X-Pro** button, then select the **Dashboard** option to get started.

* Go to the **Project Dashboard**. Open the required project.

Inside the selected project, click on the **Inventory** option. This section allows you to manage and add products required for your project setup.

In the Inventory section, click on the **Add Item** button.

Use the search option in **My Library** to find the required product. Once you locate the desired item, click on the **Add** button next to it to include the product in your project inventory.

The selected product will now be successfully added to your project under the Inventory section.

| You can add products to the Inventory only if the proposal has been created from scratch.
