# How do I set a project start date in service?

From the left navigation panel, click on the **XPRO** option. A dropdown menu will appear. Select the **Service** option from the dropdown to navigate to the Service page.

The **XPRO Service** page will open. Click the **Create** button located in the top-right corner of the page, and then select **Create Service Project** from the available options.

A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the details of the service project. Click the **Start Date** field to open the calendar. 

Select the desired date from the calendar, then click the **Create** button to create the service project.

The newly created service project will be displayed on the dashboard along with its start date.
