# How do I save style changes?

**Overview**

In XTEN-AV, style changes in X-DOC can be saved using the Settings Mode, allowing to apply and retain formatting updates across different sections of a proposal.

* Open the required proposal or document in the **X-DOC editor**.
* Click on the **Settings** option on the left side of the page.

* Make the required style changes in the document, such as: Text formatting, Table formatting, Page layout settings.

* After applying the changes, click on the **Save Changes** option on the right panel.
