# How do I save an SOW as a template?

**Overview**

You can save a Scope of Work (SOW) as a template in XTEN-AV so it can be reused for future projects. This helps you quickly create new SOW documents with a consistent format without rebuilding the structure every time.

* Navigate to the project for which you want to save the Scope of Work (SOW). Hover your cursor over the SOW section and click on the **Eye icon** to open.
