# How do I replace or update an existing template?

Clicking the **X-DOC** tab and then selecting **Templates** from the left navigation menu.

The **Templates** page will open with the title **Manage Templates**. Click the **My Templates** section. All templates that you have created or uploaded will be displayed.

**Note:** Only the templates available in the **My Templates** section are editable.

Hover over the template you want to update.

A list of options will appear. Click the **Edit** option.

The template will open in the **X-DOC Editor**. Make the required changes, then click the **Save Template** button to save your updates.

A notification pop-up will appear. Click the **OK** button to continue working.
