# How do I rename a section in an SOW template?

**Overview**

You can rename a section in a **Scope of Work (SOW)** template in XTEN-AV to keep your templates organized and easy to identify. Renaming sections helps improve clarity and makes it easier to manage templates with multiple sections.

* From the main dashboard, click the **X-DOC** tab, then select **Templates** from the left-hand navigation menu.

* You will be redirected to the **Manage** **Templates** page. Under the **My** **Templates** section select **Scope of Work** option.

* Hover over the SOW template you want to rename, then click on the **Edit** option.

* Click on the **three-dot (⋮)** icon next to the SOW name.

* After clicking on the three-dot (⋮) icon, select the **Edit Name** option to proceed with renaming the SOW template.

* Enter the required name, then click the **check (✔) icon** to proceed.

* The name will be updated immediately.
