# How do I move a design to a different location?

**Overview**

You can move a design to a different location within a project to keep your project organized. This is useful when a design needs to be reassigned to another building, floor, room, or sub-location.

**Steps** **to** **Move** **a** **Design**

* Navigate to **Projects** from the left navigation menu.

* Select the project.

*  Click on the **three dots** of the design for which you want to update the location.

* From the list, click on the **Edit** **Details** option

* Click on the Destination and select the new location.

* Click on the **Save** button to update the location.

* The selected design will be moved to the new location
