# How do I Exclude Taxes on my Proposal PDF? 

**Introduction**

If you want to exclude specific taxes from your proposal in x.doc, you can easily do so.

**Excluding Taxes**

* Navigate to the **Pricing Breakdown** section and click **Pricing Breakdown Settings.**

* The **Pricing Breakdown Settings** dialog box will open. Under **Tax Preferences**, uncheck the taxes you want to exclude, then click **Save and Close** to apply your changes.

* Once you've applied the tax setting, the excluded taxes will no longer appear in the pricing breakdown section of your x.doc editor or in the client PDF.
