# How do I enable or disable the Table of Contents?

**Overview**

In XTEN-AV, you can enable or disable the Table of Contents in your PDF documents.

* Open the required proposal or document in the **X-DOC editor**.
* Click on the **Settings** option available left side of the page.

* Click on **Page** under the **Preset Style Settings** section.

* To **enable** the Table of Contents, check the **Table of Contents** checkbox.

* To **disable** the Table of Contents, uncheck the **Table of Contents** checkbox.

* Click on **Save Changes** to apply the updates.

|| **Note:** After applying this setting, the **Table of Contents** will not appear in your client PDF.
