# How do I edit room details in x.doc document?

**Overview**

The **Edit Room Details** feature allows you to update the information associated with a room in a proposal, such as its name and other room-specific details.

* Open the proposal and navigate to the **Rooms** section, then locate the room you want to edit.

* For the selected room, click the **three-dot (⋮)** menu located next to the Add Item button.

* Select **Edit Details** from the drop-down menu.

* Update the required room information, such as the **room name** and **room quantity**.
* Click **Update** to save your changes.

* The updated room name and room quantity are reflected immediately in the proposal.
