# How do I edit or update an existing design?

**Overview:**
You can easily edit or update an existing design in XTEN-AV by accessing it from your project and making the required changes in the editor.

* Click on the **Projects** button and then **All projects** from the dashboard.

* Once you click on it, you will navigate tot he All projects page from there open the relevant Project from the dashboard and navigate to the design.

* Once you open the project, you’ll see all related designs. Simply hover over the design you want to update and click on the **Edit BOM** button.

* You can make the required changes from the **Search and Add products** page.
