# How do I edit or remove a Service Call Reason?

**Overview**
Service Call Reasons help categorize and organize service requests within your organization. If your workflow changes, administrators can update existing Service Call Reasons or remove reasons that are no longer needed directly from the X-Pro Settings.

**Steps** **to** **edit** **or** **remove** **a** **service** **call**

* Click on the **Profile icon** in the **top-right corner** of the application. From the menu, select **Settings**.

* You will be redirected to the **Settings** page. Click on **X-PRO Settings**. A drop-down menu will appear. Select **Service** **Call** **Reasons** from the **Service** list.

* Browse the list of available Service Call Reasons and locate the one you would like to modify. Click on the Service Call Reason. Update the the reason name.

* Find the Service Call Reason you no longer want to use. Click the **Delete** option associated with the Service Call Reason.

* When prompted, confirm the deletion to permanently remove the Service Call Reason from your organization.

|| Note: Only users with the appropriate administrative permissions can customize Service Call Reasons. Any changes made to Service Call Reasons will apply across the entire organization. Additionally, if a Call Reason has already been used in one or more service calls, it cannot be deleted.
