# How do I duplicate a room in X-DOC document?

**Overview**

The **Duplicate Room** feature allows you to create a copy of an existing room within a proposal. The duplicated room retains the same items and room configuration as the original,

* Open the proposal and navigate to the **Rooms & Items** section.
* Locate the room you want to duplicate.

* For the selected room, click the **three-dot (⋮)** menu located next to the Add Item button.

* Select **Duplicate Room** from the drop-down menu.

* A confirmation dialog appears asking, **"Do you want to duplicate this room?"** Click **Yes** to proceed.

* The room is duplicated immediately and appears in the **Rooms** section with the same items and configuration as the original room.
