# How do I discard style changes?

**Overview**

In XTEN-AV, you can discard style changes in a document when you do not want to apply the updated formatting or preset modifications.

* Open the required proposal or document in the **X-DOC editor**.
* Click on the **Settings** option on the left side of the page.

* Click on the **Discard Changes** option to discard the previous changes in the proposal.
