# How do I delete a vendor in the XTEN-AV platform?

**Overview**

You can delete a vendor in **XTEN-AV** if it is no longer required in your vendor database. Deleting a vendor removes it from the vendor list and it will no longer be available for selection in future purchase orders.

* From the **Dashboard**, click **Vendors** from the left-side navigation menu.

* Locate the vendor you want to delete from the vendor list.
* Click the **settings icon** next to the vendor.

* From the available options, select **Delete.**

* The selected vendor will be permanently removed from the vendor list.
