# How do I add new items from the bill of material to my current proposal?

**Overview**

To add new items from your **Bill of Materials (BOM)** to your current proposal, you can use the **Sync with Design** option. This allows you to update your proposal with the latest equipment and changes made in the design.

**Syncing BOM Products**

* Navigate to the proposal and go to the **Rooms & Items** section.
* Click the **Sync with Design** button.

* A dialogue box will appear. Select the room you want to sync and hit the **Sync** button. The products in that room will now be updated to match your BOM.

| Note:-  It is a one-way synchronization between the proposal and the BOM. In a proposal, if you add and delete products under Rooms & Items section, it won't reflect in your design.
