# How can I Resync Per Item labor to items on the Rooms & Items page? 

**Introduction**

In x.doc, you can easily resync per-item labor headers with the group labor in your proposal. This feature allows you to ensure that labor headers remain consistent with the labor settings of their respective groups.


* In the proposal editor, click on the **Rooms & Items** section.

* After clicking on this, select **Labor Settings** from the right side of the page.

* Once you click on it, the Labor Settings editor page will open. Select the **Per Item** labor type, then go to **Per Item Labor Preferences** and locate the **Resync Labor headers with the group labor** option.

* To start the resync process, click on the **Resync** button.

* A confirmation dialogue box will appear to ensure you want to proceed with the resync. Click on the **Yes I am Sure** button to confirm.

* After confirming, the per-item labor headers will be updated based on the group labor settings. Click **Save & Close** to apply the changes.

| Note: This process will update the Labors according to the labor setting of the respective group.
