# How Can I put the 0.5 Rack Unit for a product?

**Overview:**

The **Rack Information** feature allows users to update a product’s **Rack Unit** details from the Search & Add Products page after copying the product to My Library.
Users can select the required rack unit, such as **Half Rack Unit**, to ensure accurate rack layout generation.

* On the Search & Add Product page, you can edit the product’s rack information. To edit the rack unit,  you need to copy the product to **My Library** first by clicking on the **Copy to my lib** option

* Once the product is copied to **My Library**, click the **Edit** button displayed next to the item.

* Once you click the **Edit** option, the product details will be displayed. To update the **Rack Unit**, click on the **Additional Info** option.
* Select the Half Rack Unit from the dropdown menu.

* After selecting the Rack Unit, select **Add Product** to update the Rack Unit.
