# How can I create tags on X-DOC?

**Overview**

You can create tags in x.doc to help organize and categorize documents and proposals

* Click on the **X-DOC** tab, and then select **X-DOC Dashboard** from the left navigation menu.

* On the **x.doc** dashboard page, click on the **+ icon** next to the proposal section.

* The **Tags** window will open. Enter the required tag name, then click **Save** to continue.

* The newly created tag will now be visible and can be used to search for documents associated with that tag.
