# How can I Clone a Product?

**Overview:**

The **Clone Product** feature allows users to create a duplicate of an existing product with a different **make and model number**. The cloned product is added to **My Library** and becomes available in the **BOM** for use in designs.

* To clone a product, you first need to copy that product to "My Library".

* After copying the product to the library, you will see the 'Clone Product' option. Click on the 'Clone Product' button.

* Choose the product make from the drop-down menu and then enter the product model number as per your choice.  Click on the 'clone' button to save your changes.

* Once you cloned the product it will appear in your BOM page.

* Also you can clone the product from the My library. Click on the three dots and you will see the option to clone the product.
