# How can I change the aspect ratio of images while resizing them?

**Overview**

This article explains how to adjust or maintain the aspect ratio of images while resizing them in your drawing.

**Steps** **to** **Change** **The** **Aspect** **Ratio** **Image**

* Open your project and navigate to the page where the image is placed. Click on the image to select it.
* On the right side of the Drawing page, click on the **Arrange** option. Then, uncheck the **Constrain Proportion** option. 
* Once this option is unchecked, you will be able to freely adjust the image’s height and width independently, allowing you to change its aspect ratio as needed.
