# How can I adjust the labor or equipment discount in the Pricing Breakdown of my proposal?

**Overview**

XTEN-AV allows you to apply or adjust discounts for **labor** and **equipment** directly within the **Pricing Breakdown** section of your proposal. This helps you modify the final pricing based on client requirements or project negotiations.

**Steps** **to** **Adjust** **Labor** **or** **Equipment** **Discount**

* Go to the **Price Breakdown section section and select Price** **Breakdown** **Settings**.

* Select the 'Labor Tax' and 'Equipment Discount' checkboxes. Enter their values as per your requirements. Click on the 'Save and Close' button to save your changes.

* Once saved, the **Labor Tax** and **Equipment Discount** will be added and visible in the **Pricing Breakdown** section of the proposal.
