How can I add a design to a project?
Overview
Adding a design to a project allows you to create system layouts, schematics, rack drawings, floor plans, and other technical documentation directly within the project. This ensures that your drawings are linked to the correct BOM and proposal.
Steps to Add a Design to a Project
- On the My Projects page, open the required project in which you want to add a design.

In the project menu, click on the Create Design option.

- Enter the design name, select the design type from the drop-down menu, choose the design method, and click on the Create Design button.

- Add products to your design using the Search and Add Products tool, or create custom products using the Add Custom Item feature.

- After adding the products to the BOM for the first time, click on the Edit Drawing button to open the editor page, where you can make changes to your line schematics.

- All products with port information will appear as blocks with ports in the editor; you must manually create the connections between them, and you can search and add more products using the Product Block feature.
- After making the necessary changes, click on the Unsaved Changes button to save your work.
