# How can admins assign approver roles to users?

Admins can assign an Approver role to a user in XTEN-AV through the **Users & Groups Management** section available under the Profile option.

Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. From the dashboard, click the **profile** icon in the top-right corner. Then select **User and Group Management**.

2. Click the **Action** button next to the user you want to assign as an approver.

3. After clicking the Action button, select **Assign Approver Role**.

| The Approver role can only be assigned to users with **Super Admin** or **Admin** roles.
