# Exported DWG file appear blank in AutoCAD

The warning message shown in **AutoCAD** is a standard notification that appears when a **DWG** file is generated by a **Non-Autodesk Application**. Since the file is exported from XTEN-AV, AutoCAD may display this message, but it does not indicate a problem with the file.

Regarding the blank drawing, this is related to **layer visibility** in AutoCAD.

* DWG files exported from XTEN-AV contain four layers:

0 – Base layer

H – Helper layer used during drawing generation

P – Product blocks and connections

T – Text elements

* By default, the H layer always covers the drawing, which can make the file appear blank when opened in AutoCAD.

****
Open the drawing in AutoCAD.

Open Layer Properties Manager.

Locate the layer named H.

Turn OFF / hide the H layer.

Once the **H layer** is hidden, the drawing will become visible normally.

If you still face any issues after this, please share the exported** DWG file** with us, and we will check it further.
