# Can users choose SMS or email as the preferred OTP delivery method?

**Overview**
Yes, you can choose whether you want to receive your One-Time Password (OTP) via **SMS** or **Email**, depending on the authentication options available for your account.

If you would like to receive your one-time password (OTP) via **SMS**, you must first enable **Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)** for your account. Once 2FA is enabled, you can choose **SMS** as your preferred OTP delivery method during login. **How** **to** **Choose** **Your** **Preferred** **OTP** **Delivery** **Method**

* Navigate to the **XTEN login page**.

* Enter your **email address** and **password**, then click **Sign In**.

* When prompted for verification, you will see the available OTP delivery methods.
* Select your preferred option:**SMS** – Receive the OTP on your registered mobile number.**Email** – Receive the OTP at your registered email address.
