# Can I move an accepted proposal back to the draft stage?

You cannot move an accepted proposal back to the draft stage. You can create a copy of the proposal and then start editing it.

* To create a copy, navigate to and open the X-Doc dashboard. Click on the **three-dot** menu of the proposal you want to copy, then select the **Make a Copy** option from the dropdown menu.

* A window will pop up asking for the details of the copy you are creating. Enter the required information, then click on the **Save** button.

* The copied proposal will open automatically and will be available in the **Draft** stage.
