# Can I create a blank proposal without using a template?

**Overview**

In XTEN-AV, it is possible to create a proposal without using a predefined template by starting with a blank proposal. This allows full flexibility to design and structure the proposal based on specific project requirements.

* Click on the **X-DOC** tab, and then select **X-DOC Dashboard** from the left navigation menu.

* You will be redirected to the **X-DOC Dashboard** page. Click on the **Create** option to create a new proposal.

* After clicking on it, select the **Start from Scratch** option to proceed.

* Enter the required details and then click on **Create without AI** or **Create with AI**.

* You will be redirected to the **proposal editor page**, where you can modify your proposal accordingly.
